Friday, thank godiva you're here!

It’s been a big week over here at the lair. First week of classes, and of course, working on stories and getting more writerly experiences. It’s been wonderful and terrifying and all the things.

Since I don’t want to get into it all (really, I just want a glass of wine and some St. Andre’s Brie), here’s a picture of my tea thieving cat.

Sure, he's cute, but if he ruins another cup of tea by dropping his catnip mouse into it, there's gonna be some screaming...

Happy Friday!

  1. Oh he is really cute! My cat is a big old bruiser who will randomly attack as the mood takes him. He still doesn't understand that there isn't room for the laptop and him on my lap, though!

    1. Thanks, Linda. He's a sweety that we rescued. He's absolutely fascinated with the laptop and my tea, so I have to be careful of both. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Godiva sounds heavenly right now. Cats are cute but they sure can be a pest. Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks, I'm cranking out the last writing sprint to the finish of a first draft.

  3. My cat likes to sleep on the key board. Or sit on the printer above my head like a jungle cat ready to pounce.

Hope your troubles dissolve with the wine...maybe a relaxing weekend will do the trick!

    1. Yes, my keyboard has more cat hair than the couch... and that's saying something!

    1. My dog dreams of being human; my cats dream of the day they have competent staff!

    1. OMG! Yes! and that little guy will just jump up onto your shoulder if you're not paying attention. He's scared the crickets out of a number of guests.

    1. Relaxing for me is working on a first draft, so I'm doing that.
