I remember my first revise and resubmit well. It was over a page long, had tons of incredible advice, and a recommendation to read a book on writing that I found amazing. I spent an exciting six weeks fixing everything and was on cloud 9 thinking "this is it!" But it wasn't. The agent still passed. I got so much out of that experience and have no regrets, but yeah, it was painful.
A revise and resubmit is like gold. It's so nice when they take the time to help. Never be hurt...they're busy people, if they take the time to help you out- that's a wonderful thing!
